Privacy Policy for DT HealthLedger
Effective date: 5 July 2026
DT HealthLedger: Lab Tracker (“DT HealthLedger,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal health-recording application developed by DinTech.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use DT HealthLedger, how that information is used, when third-party services may process information, and the choices available to you.
By installing or using DT HealthLedger, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose of the App
DT HealthLedger allows users to manually record and organise information such as:
- Laboratory test results
- Health parameters and vital readings
- Blood-pressure readings
- Test dates and test names
- Laboratory or hospital names
- Reference ranges
- Health-condition and organ groupings
- Notes and comments
- Reminders
- Historical charts and trends
The App is intended for personal record-keeping, organisation and trend visualisation.
DT HealthLedger is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. Health Information Stored on Your Device
Health records entered into DT HealthLedger are stored locally on your device in the App’s database.
This may include:
- Test results and vital values
- Blood-pressure readings
- Test dates
- Reference ranges
- Medical-condition or organ categories
- Lab or hospital names
- Notes and comments
- Reminder details
- Custom health parameters
The App does not require you to create an online account to use its core health-recording features.
We do not intentionally send the health values, notes, lab names, locations or other custom health text that you enter to Firebase Analytics, advertising services, Remote Config or other external analytics services.
The project documentation confirms that health records are stored locally in SQLite and that sensitive health values and free-text information must not be sent to analytics, advertising or external services.
3. Backup and Restore
DT HealthLedger may provide backup and restore functions.
When you create a backup, a copy of your App data may be saved to a location selected or controlled by you, such as local device storage or another storage destination offered through your device.
You are responsible for:
- Choosing where the backup is stored
- Protecting access to the backup
- Deleting backups that are no longer required
- Ensuring that third-party storage services you select meet your privacy needs
We do not operate a dedicated cloud server for storing your health records.
A backup file may contain sensitive health information. You should therefore keep backup files private and avoid sharing them with unauthorised persons.
4. Information Processed Automatically
Although your manually entered health records are intended to remain on your device, the App may use third-party services that automatically process limited technical information.
Depending on the App version, device configuration and permissions granted, this information may include:
- App installation identifier
- Device type and operating-system version
- App version
- Language or general region
- App interaction events
- Advertising identifiers
- Crash logs
- Diagnostic and performance information
- IP address
- Notification token
- Purchase status and transaction information
This information is used for purposes such as maintaining App stability, understanding general usage, displaying advertisements, enabling notifications, managing premium purchases and delivering configuration updates.
5. Firebase Services
DT HealthLedger may use Google Firebase services, including:
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics may process non-sensitive information about App usage, such as:
- App opens
- Screen navigation
- Feature interactions
- App version
- Device and operating-system information
- General usage events
We intend analytics events to use allow-listed, non-sensitive parameters. Health values, medical notes, lab names and custom health text should not be included in analytics events.
Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, diagnostic information, device details, App version and installation identifiers to help identify and fix technical problems.
Firebase Remote Config
Firebase Remote Config may process an installation identifier and technical information to provide configuration values, such as feature settings or update-related information.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Firebase Cloud Messaging may process an App-instance or notification token and related technical information when push-notification functionality is enabled.
Firebase explains that services such as Crashlytics, Remote Config and Analytics may use installation identifiers for their respective functions.
Firebase services are provided by Google and are governed by Google’s applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
6. Notifications and Reminders
DT HealthLedger may request permission to send notifications.
Notifications may be used for:
- User-created reminders
- Test or health-related reminders
- Important App information
- Update-related notifications
Reminder information is primarily managed on your device. You can disable notifications through the App, where available, or through your Android device settings.
We do not intentionally include sensitive health values, detailed medical notes or other private free text in externally transmitted notification analytics.
7. Advertising
The free version of DT HealthLedger may display advertisements through Google AdMob.
AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as:
- Advertising identifier
- IP address
- Device information
- App interactions
- Approximate location inferred from technical information
- Advertisement impressions and interactions
- Diagnostic information
This information may be used to:
- Display advertisements
- Measure advertising performance
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Limit repeated advertisements
- Provide personalised or non-personalised advertising, subject to user choice and applicable law
Google provides privacy and messaging tools that allow publishers to obtain consent or offer privacy choices where legally required.
Users who purchase an applicable premium or advertisement-removal product may no longer be shown advertisements after the purchase is successfully recognised.
8. In-App Purchases
DT HealthLedger may offer premium features through Google Play Billing.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card or bank-account details.
Google Play may provide the App with information necessary to verify and manage the purchase, such as:
- Product identifier
- Purchase token
- Transaction status
- Purchase time
- Entitlement status
This information is used to activate, restore or validate premium features.
Google’s handling of payment and account information is governed by Google’s own privacy terms.
9. Information Sharing
We do not sell your manually entered health records.
We do not intentionally share your health values, medical notes, lab names or custom health text with advertisers.
Limited technical information may be processed by service providers used in the App, including:
- Google Firebase
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Firebase Remote Config
- Google AdMob
- Google Play Billing
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law or a valid legal request
- Protect users, the developer or the public from fraud, abuse or security threats
- Investigate violations of applicable terms
- Protect legal rights and safety
10. Data Retention
Health records stored in the App remain on your device until you:
- Delete individual records
- Delete the App’s stored data
- Clear the App’s storage through Android settings
- Uninstall the App
Soft-deleted records may remain inside the local database until they are restored or permanently removed through an available App function.
Backups remain in the location where you saved them until you delete them.
Technical information processed by Firebase, AdMob or Google Play may be retained according to Google’s applicable retention policies and your available privacy settings.
11. Deleting Your Data
Because the App does not require an account for its core features, there is no online health-data account to delete.
You can remove locally stored information by:
- Deleting records using the App’s delete functions
- Permanently removing items where that function is available
- Clearing the App’s data from Android settings
- Uninstalling the App
- Deleting any backup files that you previously created
Before clearing App data or uninstalling the App, create a backup if you wish to retain your records.
Clearing App data or uninstalling the App does not automatically delete backup files saved elsewhere.
12. Data Security
We take reasonable measures in the App’s design to limit unnecessary collection and keep manually entered health records on the device.
However, no device, software system, transmission method or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of:
- Your mobile device
- Your device lock or password
- Backup files
- Any third-party storage account used for backups
- Any information exported or shared from the App
Avoid sharing sensitive health information or backup files with unauthorised persons.
13. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, DT HealthLedger may request permissions such as:
- Notifications: to deliver reminders and App notifications
- Storage or document access: to create, select, import or restore backup files
- Internet access: for Firebase, advertisements, purchase verification, Remote Config and other online services
The App should request only permissions required for its available functions.
You can manage permissions through your Android device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the associated feature from working correctly.
14. Children’s Privacy
DT HealthLedger is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required in the user’s country.
We do not knowingly collect health information directly from children through an online account.
Parents or guardians should supervise the use of the App by minors and should not allow a child to enter sensitive information without appropriate supervision.
15. International Data Processing
Third-party service providers such as Google may process technical information on servers located outside your country.
Such processing is governed by those providers’ privacy, security and data-processing terms and by applicable law.
Your manually entered health records are intended to remain locally stored unless you choose to back up, export or share them.
16. Your Choices
Depending on your device and location, you may be able to:
- Disable App notifications
- Delete locally stored records
- Clear all App data
- Delete backup files
- Purchase an advertisement-removal or premium product
- Manage advertising consent or privacy choices
- Reset or restrict your device advertising identifier
- Adjust Android permissions
- Limit certain analytics or advertising functionality where supported
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
- App features change
- Third-party services change
- Legal or Google Play requirements change
- Data-handling practices change
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
You should review this Privacy Policy periodically.
